PADI Multilevel and Computer Adventure Dive:

As Scuba divers, we want to stay under the water as long as possible.  The only way to do this safely is to be able to calculate the amount of nitrogen our body absorbs during a dive.  By knowing the amount of nitrogen absorbed in our body at any given time during a dive or after our surface interval, we can calculate the maximum amount of bottom time for our next dive without exceeding our no-decompression limits.  To calculate this we use the recreational dive planner or better yet the eRDPML calculator.
