dive trip Information
Our standard price for boat or beach dive trips includes the boat ticket only since most divers have ther own equipment. We do not include equipment rental in the standard boat or beach dive trip cost.
If you need rental equipment we are more than happy to provide you with whatever you may need. If you are not renting equipment from us, you must bring all of your own SCUBA gear including tanks and weights for your dives.
Arrival and check in
Arrival and Check in for Boat and beach Dives It is very important to arrive on time for your boat or beach dives to avoid being left at the dock or beach.
Divers needing rental equipment must check in at the shop one hour and 30 minutes prior to departure to secure all rental equipment for their dive in order to be considered on time. Divers arriving late for check-in may lose their spot to a standby customer.
Divers not requiring rental equipment may go straight to the dock or beach. Check-in at the dock or beach is in between one hour and 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time in order to be considered on time. Divers arriving late may lose their spot to a standby customer.
Failing to arrive and check-in at the proper time. It is at the guide/instructor’s discretion whether to let a diver continue their boat or beach dive trip after a late arrival. SCUBA Dive It and their guide/instructors reserves the right to fill all unclaimed spot 30min prior to the scheduled departure time.
If you lose your spot due to a late arrival there are no refunds or store credits for any missed dive trips for any reason. To avoid missing your boat or beach dive trip don’t be late.
If you need rental equipment we are more than happy to provide you with whatever you may need. You may select whatever equipment you need when booking your course.
Scuba Diving is a service industry and a large part of your guide/instructor income comes from your generosity. So please, if your guide/instructor provided you with a great experience and kept you safe, please don’t forget to show your appreciation by tipping. Anything is appreciated however $10 to $20 per person is customary. Thank you
Whether cancellation policy
Our policy at SCUBA Dive It when it comes to adverse weather conditions is always safety first. High winds, surf, riptide’s, strong currents or limited visibility are considered unsafe environments for scuba diving. Unfortunately Mother Nature does not always cooperate with our schedule and sometimes we are forced for safety reasons to cancel dive trips. If a dive trip is canceled by SCUBA Dive It for any reason you will have two options:
you may reschedule your dive trip for a future date at no charge
or you may receive a full refund
Note: in the event of the weather cancellations you will receive an email informing you of the cancellation.
